Three-color legendary creatures returned to Magic: The Gathering through the Streets of New Capenna set, showcasing several lands, planeswalkers, legendaries, and a bird worth money.
Over a dozen Streets of New Capenna (SNC) cards were worth money following the official global launch that took place on April 29. The Standard-legal set features five crime boss families within three-color Shards, each of which has its own unique MTG mechanic. There are a total of three planeswalkers within the set, a Phyrexian, and the completed cycle of Triome lands that started within the Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths set.
Heading into the 2022 Magic World Championship and the release of The Brothers’ War (BRO), prices of SNC cards had only dipped slightly, maintaining their overall value. And cards like Ledger Shredder were showing signs of a slight rebound.
Leading up to the release of the Phyrexia: All Will Be One (ONE) set, prices for many of the SNC variations dipped slightly while the borderless Triome foil lands with Cycling were valued between $30 and $45.
Each of the most expensive New Capenna cards listed is based on prices obtained from MTGStocks, TCGPlayer, and MTGGoldfish. Prices are subject to change on a weekly basis. All New Capenna cards worth money will get updated on a monthly basis and after any major Magic tournaments showcasing the Standard format.
Ledger Shredder
Spiking in price shortly after the release of SNC, Ledger Shredder has an extended foil version that was valued at around $35 at the start of SNC, rose to around $43, and then dropped back down to $32 prior to 2022 Magic Worlds. Heading into the release of ONE, some variations of Ledger Shredder began to see a rise in price again. The bird advisor was not only a bomb in New Capenna Limited but has become popular within the Commander, Modern, Standard, and Pioneer formats.

Ob Nixilis, the Adversary
Once the most valuable card within the SNC set, Ob Nixilis, the Adversary began to decline with the release of DMU. The planeswalker still sees play in multiple MTG formats like Modern, Pioneer, Commander, and even Standard. But Ob Nixilis, the Adversary’s value won’t likely return to what it was when SNC first launched.

Urabrask, Heretic Praetor
Another Phyrexian Praetor slipped into a Standard-legal MTG set, with the foil Phyrexian version of Urabrask, Heretic Praetor priced at around $45. All other prices for the Praetor dipped after the launch of SNC. A Showcase foil of Urabrask, Heretic Praetor is valued at around $9. And the regular version is priced at around $3.
Unlicensed Hearse
Unlicensed Hearse saw a huge price spike in July, following the SNC release. The Vehicle that’s found a home in Pioneer and Modern format builds peaked at around $30 for its extended art foil version and has since fallen to under $20 leading up to the release of ONE, which is still a far cry from its launch price of $4.

Gilded foil SNC legendary creatures worth money
Out of the five crime boss gilded foil legendaries within SNC, three maintained a value of $30 or higher. The regular versions, however, were all valued under $5.
- Ziatora, the Incinerator gilded foil: $30 to $35
- Raffine, Scheming Seer gilded foil: $40
- Jetmir, Nexus of Revels gilded foil: $33 to $35
- Lord Xander, the Collector gilded foil: $21
- Falco Spara, Pactweaver gilded foil: $15
Bootleggers’ Stash
Bootleggers’ Stash is an Artifact that can create Treasure tokens by tapping lands you control. Playable in multiple Magic formats, the borderless foil version of the Artifact is valued at around $12.
Other foil-etched SNC legendary creatures worth money
Regular version prices for cards like Vivien on the Hunt may have dropped below $5 after the launch of SNC but their foil-etched versions maintained some value.

Tri-land SNC cycle lands worth money
Providing mana fixing, the New Capenna Tri-land cycle completes the Triome land cycle from Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths. There are a total of five Tri-lands and each is the most expensive land in the Streets of New Capenna set.
Raffine’s Tower
A borderless foil version of Raffine’s Tower is priced at around $44. An art-deco Showcase foil version is worth around $11 and the regular version of the Tri-land is priced at $9.
Spara’s Headquarters
Spara’s Headquarters was the most expensive of all the Tri-lands in SNC but dropped slightly heading into 2022 MTG Worlds. The borderless foil version is worth around $37 to $40. There is also an art deco Showcase foil version worth around $19. The borderless non-foil version is valued at around $16, and the regular Tri-land version of Spara’s Headquarters is priced at around $7.
Xander’s Lounge
Xander’s Lounge rose slightly in price after the release of DMU. The land has a foil borderless version worth around $41 and an art deco Showcase foil version valued at around $10. A regular version of the Tri-land is worth around $7.
Ziatora’s Proving Ground
Rising slightly in value after the release of SNC and maintaining its worth, the borderless foil version of Ziatora’s Proving Ground is worth around $40. The Showcase art-deco foil is priced at around $9 and the regular version of the Tri-land is worth $8.
Jetmir’s Garden
Jetmir’s Garden was one of the lowest-priced regular versions, but also rose slightly after the release of DMU. The borderless foil version of the SNC land is valued with the rest at around $33. The art deco Showcase foil version is priced at around $8, and the regular Tri-land version is priced between $7 and $8.
