A support player and a DPS player have been added to San Francisco Shock’s Overwatch League team.
Park “Architect” Min-ho, formerly of South Korean Overwatch team X6-Gaming, and Grant “moth” Espe, previously of Toronto Esports, have joined the Overwatch League roster, San Francisco Shock announced today. The two new players bring the San Francisco roster up to 11 players.
The announcement also confirmed that the organization’s two underage players, Jay “sinatraa” Won and Matthew “super” DeLisi, will debut in the Overwatch League “soon.” San Francisco Shock previously said sinatraa will become eligible to play in the league on March 22. Super will debut ahead of the Overwatch League’s third stage.
Sinatraa is an eagerly anticipated player, and a top pick during the Overwatch League’s scouting period. The 17-year-old DPS player reportedly signed a $150,000 contract with the San Francisco Shock, $100,000 more than the league’s minimum salary.
San Francisco Shock will be counting on the new additions to lift the team from the depths of the Overwatch League standings. The team hasn’t performed great in their inaugural season, and have struggled against the Overwatch League’s top-tier teams.
