Whether you’re building a base or crafting a weapon, you will need plenty of resources in Palworld.
Anyone familiar with crafting in survival games knows how crucial it is to find a deposit of resources close to wherever your crafting bench is. It’s even better if resource nodes that respawn—it makes harvesting and crafting much easier. Luckily for Palworld players, we have good news.
Do trees respawn in Palworld?
Yes, trees respawn quite quickly. It takes roughly 24 hours of in-game time, so all you need to do is wait or pass the time by sleeping in a bed in your base to make these resources respawn.
In my experience playing on Xbox, even building a house or structure close to a tree won’t stop it from respawning. I cut down a tree and built my house next to it, and the next thing I knew, I had branches creeping through my window the following day. Keep that in mind when plotting your dream home’s location.
Does stone respawn in Palworld?
Yes, stone takes 24 hours of in-game time to respawn. Like trees, stone is readily available throughout Palworld, but even if you struggle to locate some, stone respawns.
Does ore respawn in Palworld?
Yes, Palworld ore will respawn after 24 hours of in-game time. So, plan accordingly when building your home base location. Ore is good to make ingots which is used in many mid-game recipes.
If you know a place with plenty of Ore, like the Desolate Church, you can farm that area every day to maximize your Ore intake.
Do chests respawn in Palworld?
Yes, chests also respawn after 24 in-game hours. Additionally, chests can even respawn into a different color chest.
In my base, I was lucky enough to have a purple chest spawn area right next to my Pal Fluffy Beds. It constantly provides me with ammo, keys, and Pal Souls.
Palworld resource respawn times
It takes 24 in-game hours for resource nodes to respawn. Be careful when you are building, though. If you build a structure over a resource’s spawn area, the resource won’t respawn.
Since resources respawn, you should set up your workshop close to a collection of boulders and trees and trust that you’ll never have to travel far. With all that saved time, you’ll be able to craft much faster without having to lug around Wood or Stone. If you have Pals doing the heavy lifting for you, you’ll never need to worry about your base’s resource nodes ever becoming depleted forever.
This is good news if you want to avoid building structures like a Stone Pit or Logging Pit, which also provide infinite resources. The only difference between harvesting from a standard resource node and one of these structures is the period you need to wait while the node respawns.
There you have it. That’s everything you need to know about resources respawning in Palworld. Enjoy!
