Palworld Digtoise location, skills, and how to catch

Digtoise is located in the middle region of the Palpagos Islands, as well as in the very northeastern part of the full Palworld map—as shown by the yellow circles above.

It doesn’t mean Digtoise is exclusively associated with this location, but this is where we came across our first Digtoise, so we can say for sure that the likelihood of one being there is high. If it’s nowhere in sight when you go there, then leave the area, go somewhere else, and then head back a bit later to see if it’s respawned.

How to catch Digtoise in Palworld

There is nothing special you need to do to capture Digtoise in Palworld; battle it like you would catch Pals in any other situation in the game, and, once you’ve weakened it considerably, throw a Pal Sphere at it and hope it stays in the ball.

When battling Digtoise, you’ll want to keep in mind that it has a Ground elemental type. As a result, you’ll want to bring a Pal with a Grass elemental type in order to have an advantage.

If it stays in the ball, congratulations! You’ve got a Digtoise. However, unless it is the final one you need, make sure you stay on the hunt to obtain the complete Paldeck.

Best uses for Digtoise in Palworld

If you’ve been playing Palworld for a while, you’re likely aware that Base Raids can happen every now and then. Luckily, a Digtoise or two can help out with holding down the fort. Digtoise’s attack and HP stats aren’t the greatest, but they’ve got one of the highest defense stats in the game. If you’ve got a line of Digtoise defending your base, baddies are going to have to work to get through.

Apart from holding the line, Digtoise is one of the best Pals in the game to farm High Quality Pal Oil. You’ll just have to catch or kill a Digtoise to get it. Additionally, because of its Mining work suitability being an impressive level three, it’s also one of the best Mining Pals for creating an Ore farm.
