How to destroy structures in Palworld

In Palworld, you can destroy a structure by bringing up the build wheel and pressing C on PC, or clicking RS on controller, then selecting the structure you want to destroy. This will also reclaim any materials you used to build it.

Here’s a step-by-step list of instructions on how to destroy structures in Palworld:

  1. While you’re in the game, press B on PC or Up on the D-pad on controller to open the build wheel.
  2. If you look at the bottom of the screen, you will see the option to activate Disassembly Mode.
  3. Press C on PC or click the Right Stick on controller.
  4. Look at and highlight the structure you want to destroy.
  5. Press the button to Disassemble the structure, and it will immediately break apart.
  6. You’ll then receive the materials that went into constructing that structure.

Congratulations, you’re free to build another structure to your heart’s content. After all, if you’re able to increase your base level in Palworld, you’ll be able to build even more bases around Palpagos. This means you may need to rearrange some of your creations and salvage the necessary materials where possible, all contributing to the greater good of masterminding your mini-home.

How to move structures in Palworld

As of now, you cannot move structures in Palworld without deconstructing them first. The only to move a structure or building you have misplaced is to destroy it and place it in the proper spot. Luckily for players, destroying a structure returns all the materials to your inventory, so it’s essentially the same thing as moving structures.

Just be wary that when you break down a structure and receive it’s crafting materials, you may become encumbered. This is why I like to keep a storage chest nearby, so I can slow-waddle my way over to it and deposit any excess resources.

It’s helpful to know these little things of course, particularly since building structures is just one of the many ways you can level up fast in Palworld—so we’ve also thrown base-building into our essential Palworld beginner tips and tricks guide.
