In Palworld, flying mounts are invaluable. Choosing the fastest flying mounts will amplify certain tasks for you in game like collecting Pal Eggs, finding Great Owl Statues and heading to Wildlife Sanctuaries.
These advantages, making your adventures incredibly efficient, so you will want the fastest mount to do so.
The fastest flying mount in Palworld
Jetragon is the fastest flying mount in Palword flying at speeds from 1700 to 3300 and possibly one of the hardest Pals to catch. They come in front of Frostallion, another legendary Pal and fly almost twice the speed.
Since Jetragon is a legendary spawn at level 50, it can only be bred with two Jetragons, so your only choice to catch one for the first time is its Alpha spawn in the late-game, north of the Everlasting Summer teleportation point, near the Volcano.
Most players usually go for the second-fastest Pal first before grinding for Jetragon and we recommend you do the same!
Palword’s flying mounts ranked by speed
We did hands-on speed tests with each mount, measuring the distance they travelled during a 10-second direct flight. Essentially, the more ground covered, the greater the speed.
The list below reveals the findings, showcasing the fastest flying mounts in Palworld and where to capture them. The list is arranged from fastest to slowest:

Jetragon
Coordinates | -789, -321 |
Wild level | 50 |
Element | Dragon |
Breeding from eggs | Two Jetragon |
Player level required for saddle | 50 |
Saddle materials | 100 Leather, 200 Refined Ingot, 50 Circuit Board, 140 Paldium Fragment |
Jetragon, a legendary dragon, awaits you at Mount Obsidian, far to the west of the Palworld map. You can only find it at level 50, so be prepared with a robust lineup of Ice Type Pals and top-notch gear for an effective encounter. Capturing this incredible creature demands a Legendary Pal Sphere.
I gave catching Jetragon a shot with a Hyper Sphere, the game’s second-best, but only got a meager two percent catch rate.
Securing Jetragon will give you remarkable flight speed that transforms your Palworld exploration. If you missed your chance to capture it, don’t worry, because Jetragon respawns roughly an hour after you defeat it, ready for another capture attempt.
Frostallion

Frostallion, a legendary Pegasus Ice Pal is located in the Icy cold biome north of the Pristine Snowfield teleportation point on the Palworld map.
They are also only found at level 50, make sure to have a lineup of strong fire-type Pals. Hyper Spheres or anything above will be the only Spheres for this Legendary Pal.
Faleris

Wild level | 41 to 43 |
Element | Fire |
Breeding from eggs | Two Faleris or Anubis and Vanwrym |

This Fire bird flying Mount travels at rapid speeds and with Level 3 Kindling, they are even super useful at your base!
Shadowbeak

Breeding from eggs | Two ShadowBeak or Kitsun and Astegon |
Player level required for saddle | 47 |
Saddle materials | 25 Venom Glands, 50 Leather, 40 Refined Ingot, 45 Paldium Fragment. |
Shadowbeak is said to be born in the depths of insanity and can be found the No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary. This dark flying mount comes in fourth and there is a reason why, they’re super fast. This Pal is particularly rough to catch, so the best tips to get them is to bring along a some Dragon types as well as Hyper Spheres, Ultra Spheres.
Ragnahawk
Coordinates | -479, -742 |
Wild level | 32 to 34 |
Element | Fire |
Breeding from eggs | Relaxaurus and Cinnamoth, among other breeding pairs. |
Player level required for saddle | 37 |
Saddle materials | 25 Leather, 15 Cloth, 20 Ingot, 20 Flame Organ, 25 Paldium Fragments |
Ragnahawk stands as a top-tier flying mount in Palworld, found around level 35 on Mount Obsidian. While it’s not tailored for early-game players, snagging this Pal with Hyper Pal Spheres sets you up with a premier flying mount for your mid and late-game adventures.
You won’t need to worry about other flying Pals or even Jetragon. So, as soon as the opportunity arises, I strongly suggest finding room for Ragnahawk. It’s a game-changer.
Beakon
Coordinates | 527, 526 |
Wild level | 29 |
Element | Electric |
Breeding from eggs | Mossanda and Blazamut and other breeding combinations. |
Player level required for saddle | 34 |
Saddle materials | 20 Electric Organ, 20 Leather, 20 Ingot, 10 Cloth, 25 Paldium Fragments. |
Beakon is an electric type Pal flying Mount in Palworld that has lightning speed. You can find the Alpha Pal Beakon southeast of the Bamboo Thicket teleportation statue. If you are trying to catch Beakon, we recommend bringing along Ground-type Pals since Electric type Pals are weak to Ground types. Don’t forget to bring plenty of Giga and Hyper Spheres as well.
With their electric aerial attacks, they can get rid of a group of angry raiders in one strike. They are highly useful when it comes to transporting and fighting huge groups of enemies.
Suzaku
Coordinates | 405, 256 |
Wild level | 40 |
Element | Fire |
Breeding from eggs | Blazamut and Astegon |
Player level required for saddle | 40 |
Saddle materials | 20 Leather, 25 Refined Ingot, 20 Flame Organ, 40 Paldium Fragments. |
Suzaku may not match Ragnahawk’s prowess but it’s still a great mount. You can find it near level 40 in the Desert region north of the map. Its vertical ascent outpaces Ragnahawk, offering rapid climbs, ideal for egg hunting on cliffs and towering mountains.
While its horizontal speed is impressive, it doesn’t quite reach Ragnahawk’s level. If your goal is to cover ground swiftly, Ragnahawk holds the edge. Yet, for vertical exploration, Suzaku shines as an unbeatable choice.
