A suspicious track choice on the 2024 Pokémon World Championships official soundtrack has fans wondering if the location of 2025’s tournament has accidentally been leaked.

The soundtrack features 10 songs to be played at the event, most of which are Hawaii-inspired songs, but it’s the final song in the playlist that stands out. “Saddled Up” is the official theme song from the 2018 World Championships in Nashville, Tennessee, leading trainers to believe that The Pokémon Company has inadvertently leaked that the Pokémon World Championships will return there next year.

The choice of a song does not confirm any major decision, and The Pokemon Company hasn’t confirmed this rumor to be true—but if Worlds is returning to Nashville next year, the addition of “Saddle Up” to the public soundtrack this early is a colossal mistake from The Pokémon Company. Alternatively, the track may have purposely been added to drum up interest ahead of this year’s event.

While it’s a strange track to be included on the album, fans may be reading too much into it, and it may have simply been added for nostalgia or because it’s just a downright banger. It doesn’t seem like Pokémon would tease, leak, or reveal a big decision like this on a Spotify album. But fans will take anything at this point to get hyped about the prospect of next year’s World Championship location.
