Taego features 15 Secret Rooms in PUBG for you to find—but knowing their location isn’t enough, as you require a Secret Room Key to unlock each of these hidden rooms.

Almost every PUBG map offers Secret Rooms you can unlock to collect mid to high-tier loot like level-three vests, medkits, painkillers, weapons, and grenades. Taego’s Secret Rooms, unlike the rest of the maps in the pool, also provide a self-revive kit (Self-AED) which can certainly come in clutch when you’ve been downed from long ranges.

Here are all the Secret Room locations on Taego in PUBG and how to find the keys.

Every Secret Room in Taego is hidden behind a mural, and almost every building with these hidden areas is on the edge of the map. The buildings in question have a blue roof, half-covered with a dirty canvas, and a few more structures nearby. You must stand near the door and use your interact key (F on PC) to open it.

Where to find Secret Room Keys in Taego

The best way to increase your chances of finding a Secret Room Key on Taego is to drop in areas like Terminal and Shipyard with lots of ground loot. The Secret Room Keys spawn randomly as ground loot anywhere on the map, just like the keys to hidden areas on other maps in the game.

Aside from the Self-AED, I don’t find Secret Rooms’ loot in Taego worth grabbing. While these rooms offer decent loot, they are not that far off from the ground loot available in most areas. If you get lucky and find an elusive Secret Room Key, you can only open one room with it, as the key gets consumed upon use and you can’t use a crowbar to pry open a door.

I would rather take my chances and contest an airdrop, which undoubtedly provides much better gear—ideal for increasing your odds of securing a chicken dinner.

Additionally, most Secret Rooms are close to the map’s border, leaving little time to collect your loot and return to the safe zone. However, the section right before the hidden area also offers ample loot (loaded with healing items), so if you wish to maintain a low profile from the get-go while gearing up for the late game, look for a vehicle before heading to a few of these buildings.
