In Korea, OGN is known for its high-quality broadcasts and exciting presentations of esports, like its Overwatch Apex league that features some of the country’s top gamers. OGN will have a tough task with PUBG, as broadcasting a 100-player game on a massive map is very different than any other game in esports right now.

On Monday, top Korean esports organization KSV announced that two former Overwatch pros would be heading up its brand new PUBG team. This announcement coupled with OGN’s seems to solidify the thought that PUBG has a solid future in esports.

PUBG has only had one major esports LAN event thus far, with August’s PUBG gamescom Invitational. The game’s next tournament will be at IEM Oakland on Nov. 18 and 19.
