To celebrate the news, it’s offering a new special holiday promotion. From Dec. 17 to 31, anyone who purchases an Xbox One X console will get a copy of PUBG for free.

The Xbox version of PUBG is currently a little rough around the edges, with shoddy framerates and visual glitches, but it’s important to remember that it’s still an Xbox Game Preview title and not a full release just yet.

The full release of the PC version is on Dec. 20, and more updates to the console version will follow. PUBG on Xbox One will receive further optimizations and the new desert map, Miramar, at a later date.

PUBG has been a smash hit on the PC since it released into Steam early access this past March, and has gone on to sell over 24 million copies since then. One million copies sold on the Xbox in just two days strengthens the game’s popularity, just on a different platform.

The Xbox One deal is available in “select regions” for just two weeks, and Microsoft suggests contacting retailers for more information.
