Evolving units is a staple of Anime Vanguards. There’s no point sitting on your current units and admiring them—your goal should be to seek out great units and turn them into unstoppable ones. To do this, you need to understand the art of Evolving units.

While the process isn’t overly complicated, upgrading certain units can become a grind—I’m looking at you, Igros (Igris). So, check out our guide on how to Evolve units in Anime Vanguards to make your great units even greater.

To evolve units in Roblox‘s Anime Vanguards, you need to go to the “Evolve” building in the main hub area, enter the establishment, approach the Evolve desk (not Crafting), interact with the character at the desk, and select the applicable units you want to Evolve, then press to execute the process.

Unfortunately, it sounds easier than it is. Firstly, not all units can be evolved, and there’s a good chance that, early on, you won’t have many (if any) units that can. Once you do, though, you must speak to the person shown in our “Hello there” screenshot above—but ensure you have the required materials.

In addition to eligible upgrade units, you also need Essence Stones—which you can only get by completing “Challenges” or “Legend Stages.” Depending on the unit, they need a certain amount of Green Essence Stones, Blue Essence Stones, Yellow Essence Stones, Red Essence Stones, or Rainbow Essence Stones.

When you have an Evolvable unit and the required resources, take them to the Evolve desk, speak to the person there, and select to “Evolve” them! Doing so unlocks a superior version of the base unit, making it more powerful, with a higher DPS, better SPA, and more abilities.
