Spider-Cube? This Spider-Man 2 bug is equally as bizarre as it is awesome

Spider-Man 2 players are experiencing the most bizarre bug as their character becomes a small, white cube that can talk, jump, shoot webs, and even fight.

With the launch of Spider-Man 2 on Oct. 20, players have been diving into the world of Peter Parker and his adventures as a hero. The game came with a number of bugs, but some of them have added value in ways players didn’t expect.

Players like MrMattyPlays have been experiencing a unique bug that turns Spider-Man into a small, white cube, which we’ve dubbed Spider-Cube. Not only is it funny but the community loves it because you can still hear the footsteps and voices and even fight and shoot webs.

Where does this bug come from? I’m not sure. But seeing a cube flying through the busy streets shooting webs is brilliant.

Because it’s a bug, the devs will probably fix it soon. But there are players who don’t want this bug fixed and want to play as a cube. The downside is it appears in cutscenes, which ruined the final scene for many players. On the other hand, it has made Spider-Man 2 much more entertaining.

Sadly, it should be easy for the devs to fix as the cube is a placeholder for the player before their art and designs are included in the game engine. And it only triggers when players switch between the different suits of Peter or Miles.

If you don’t want to play as a cube, you can restart Spider-Man 2, which should fix the issue. If not, you may have to continue playing as Spider-Cube until an official bug fix rolls out. But given how much the community loves the cube, it should be added as skin.

If that’s not possible, someone needs to develop a mod so players can keep their beloved Spider-Cube.
