What is the Star Wars Outlaws release date?

In Star Wars Outlaws, players will take the travel the galaxy as Kay Vess, an outlaw trying to earn her freedom and start a new life. In the open-world game from Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment, players can work for and interact with various crime syndicates while planning the greatest heist the galaxy as ever seen.

Across various trailers and breakdown videos, the developer team has shown off a game with several different types of gameplay, including stealth, third-person cover-based combat, speeder bike chases, and starship combat. It’s the first truly open-world Star Wars game.

But the one thing fans have been waiting hear is an official release date for Star Wars Outlaws. And after months of waiting, we now finally have one.

When does Star Wars Outlaws release?

Star Wars Outlaws will officially release on Aug. 30, 2024, for PC, Xbox and PlayStation 5. The official release date was finally revealed when the game’s official story trailer released. Prior to the reveal, the only confirmed information was that the game would release in late 2024, but many believed that would mean a release date closer to the holidays.

Alongside the information gained about the Star Wars Outlaws release date and the game’s story, the release of the official story trailer also occurred at the same time that pre-orders for the game’s base edition and special editions went live. For players that want to play the game days before everyone else, those special editions are crucial to unlocking early access. The game will be fully available to paid Ubisoft+ Premium members.

With the release date for Star Wars Outlaws now official, players are now counting down the days and hours until the open world adventure goes live.
