Gfinity‘s upcoming tournament is a veritable reunion tour of Korean greats and European favorites. The 16-player tournament will feature eight prolific invites and eight qualifier spots, two from North America and Korea and four from Europe.

Both long time fans and newer ones will witness Jens “Snute” Aasgaard and Patrick “Bunny” Brix plying their trade against Korean legends Jang “MC” Min Chul, Jung “Rain” Yoon Jong, Won “Parting” Lee Sak, Park “ForGG” Ji Soo, Kim “Soukey” Min Chul, and the Lee “Jaedong” Jae Dong.

Qualifier finalists will receive travel and accommodations to join the star-studded fold at Gfinity’s brand new London arena in Fulham Broadway, where Thomas “Khaldor” Kilian, Joseph “Ret” de Kroon, Benjamin “Demuslim” Baker, and others will call the action.

The March 28 tournament lineup hearkens back to the days of the IGN Proleague and North American Starleague, when big names from across the globe gathered regularly to test their mettle. And while old-school names like “Idra” and “Sheth” won’t be in attendance, the tournament is certain to offer some refreshing respite from the region-locked action of the World Championship Series.
