Just what are you?

Imagine you are making first contact with an alien race and it just ends up being a random guy in a suit. This is something players in Starfield can do when entering the Constant for the first time.

On Oct. 24, a Starfield fan discovered that if you board the Constant for the first time wearing a Tardigrade monster suit, you will be greeted with a few lines of special dialogue.

Diana Brackenridge, the captain of the Constant, will be left confused after seeing this monstrosity by saying: “What… are you? Wait, are you just a human in some sort of strange suit?” The player can then respond using one of the five options all of which reveal that they are in fact, 100 percent human.

This interaction is hilarious and is almost on the same level as scammers reaching out to you about your ship’s extended warranty. Little moments like these are fun and the community loves them even though some players never knew this suit was in the game: “There’s a monster costume??! 150 hours in.. just wow,” one fan wrote.

The Tardigrade suit can be obtained by completing the Tourists Go Home Mission on Titan. After completing it three times you will be able to keep the outfit and wear it whenever you feel like scaring someone.

Diana is not the only NPC in Starfield that has something to say about that suit. Interviewer Imogene during the Back to the Grind mission will be clearly displeased if you show up to the interview wearing the Tardigrade costume.

Who knows, maybe there is that one person among the stars who will even compliment you on the outfit? Only one way to find out. Either way, the attention to detail in this game feels endless with new surprises appearing every day.
