Only a short time after coming back from an unplanned hiatus, Adin Ross is staging a huge Kick stream with a timely political slant: He’s going to interview Donald Trump amid the 2024 US presidential election.
Ross told his Kick fans about the planned Trump interview after thanking them for the “support… and love” they’ve shown him over the years and credited them for giving him the opportunity. “Yes, we will have a livestream with President Donald Trump,” the streaming star repeated as his chat reacted. “We’ve been working on this for weeks, months… It’s officially locked in. It’s going to be insane.”
On the other side of the interview, Donald Trump has yet to mention the collaboration on his Truth Social page. Dot Esports has reached out for confirmation.
What the stream will entail is unclear, with Ross only suggesting it’s going to be “huge” and exclusive to Kick. An in-person appearance by Trump is unlikely considering he and his Republican running mate Senator JD Vance are slated to appear at events in Pennsylvania and Nevada this week. Ross streams from Florida.
There’s already been questions raised about the validity of the interview too, especially considering Ross’ past with teased collaborations. In September last year, the former Twitch star fooled thousands of viewers by then claiming North Korean leader Kim Jong Un would appear on his Kick channel. The guest ended up being a professional impersonator—though that broadcast did still break Kick records.
Ross’ big Trump claim comes off a recent declaration from the Kick star that he wanted to clean up his edgy persona so he could “do some big shit.” If he has landed an interview with the presidential nominee, that would certainly qualify as “big shit.”
Only time will tell if Adin Ross and Donald Trump will actually appear together on Kick early next week. In streaming, stranger things have happened.
