Nikocado Avocado has confirmed fellow creator Asmongold was the only person who came close to figuring out why he became morbidly obese over many years only to shed all the weight in what appeared to be a few months—leaving many viewers to deem the viral video to be a part of YouTube history.

While showering Nikocado Avocado with praise after his incredible “transformation” reveal last week, Asmongold defended the mukbang creator against chatters calling him a sociopath during a Sept. 7 stream. He stated that Nikocado is “an artistic person” and he did the social experiment as a “manifestation of that art.” A week later, Nikocado revealed this to be true on a now-expired Sept. 11 Instagram story, crediting Asmongold’s theory to be the only one to resemble his ideology.

“You have to remember this guy went to Juilliard, the MIT for art,” Asmongold said, justifying that Nikocado’s always been a smart person and he plays a character to get everyone’s attention. The beauty of the entire social experiment, though, remains the fact that despite Nikocado outrightly declaring his videos are an experiment several times in the last few years, no one believed him—he was that good at playing the role.

Nikocado Avocado broke the internet on Sept. 7 with his Two Steps Ahead video which has already amassed over 40 million views. The mukbang YouTuber returned after a seven-month hiatus, surprising his viewers with his incredible physical transformation—losing over 250 pounds in two years—in what he called “the greatest social experiment” of his life. Many streamers, including Asmongold, were left speechless by Nikocado’s commitment to this “experiment.”

Nikocado had been secretly losing all the weight he put on for over seven years while uploading previously recorded videos up until February this year. He also stated that despite his outlandish behavior over the years, millions of people watched his videos—even if it was only to leave hate comments.
