Twitch’s annual convention, TwitchCon, will return this year after being canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As was planned in 2020, there will be two separate conventions—one in Europe and one in the United States. The European event was already held in Amsterdam in the middle of July, and the U.S. convention will be held in San Diego from Oct. 7 to 9.

Twitch has not yet revealed the entire plan for the upcoming convention in California, but when you look at the event’s site, you’ll see some of the early plans for it. The organizers are preparing a handful of activities for TwitchCon 2022 attendees, like Loot Cave, Content meetings, TwitchCon Party, and more.

The list of Twitch content creators who will appear in San Diego is also starting to fill up. Streamers like Crumbzz, VapeJuiceJordan, and HeadShotChick will be present at the event.

In a statement, Twitch added the events may need to be changed depending on numerous things, like public health and safety.

“These are still uncertain times and our plans will remain flexible as needed,” Twitch said. “Our top priority while planning TwitchCon is safety, and we will closely follow local health guidelines and recommendations.”

Nevertheless, health concerns didn’t disturb the TwitchCon 2022 in Amsterdam in July, so there’s no reason to expect the event in San Diego to be delayed or canceled as well.

This article will be updated as more information about the TwitchCon schedule is released. To get regular updates on the events, you can follow the official TwitchCon account on Twitter.
