The best North American Teamfight Tactics players competed in the final Set Eight tournament this weekend for a chance to represent NA at the Monsters Attack! World Championship.
Taking place over the course of three days from March 3 to 5, the North American TFT Mid-Set Finale featured a total of 32 players. Each of the players had earned an invite to the prestigious tournament through a top finish at one of the Set Eight Cup tournaments or through qualifying points that were earned by competing in the Defender and Corrupted Cup tournaments.
The winner of the TFT Set Eight Mid-Set Finale earned a direct invite to Worlds, while the top four earned a chance to compete at the Set 8.5 Regional Finals.
March 3 TFT Mid-Set Finale standings
Players were split into four lobbies with lobbies getting reseeded every two rounds over the course of six games played. Only the top 16 from day one advanced to the second day of the TFT Mid-Set Finale, with the top six earning bonus points that carried over into day two.
- First and second: Three bonus points
- Third and fourth: Two bonus points
- Fifth and sixth: One bonus point
End-game TFT comps winning lobbies during the first three games of day one at the NA Mid-Set Finale were diverse, from Kai’Sa Recon and Sureshot Samira/Aphelios to Draven Mecha carry and Camille Hacker Admin. Sitting atop the leaderboard after three games was Prestivent, followed by TL Robin, Dishsoap, and Clear.
After six games, day one of the TFT Mid-Set Finale wrapped with sètsuko at the top of the leaderboard with 41 points. Dishsoap finished in second with 40 points, followed by Prestivent with 38 points and Kyivix with 35 points. All of the top six players earned bonus points that carried over into day two.
The cutoff for day two was 27 points, with Milala and Rereplay missing the cut at 27 points due to tie-breakers. Also missing the cut were players like Rippleoverdrive, Xiao Dian Dian, TL Kurumx, Cottontail, and C9 k3soju.

March 4 TFT Mid-Set Finale standings
The top 16 players from day one advanced to the second day of the NA Mid-Set Finale Set Eight tournament, split into two lobbies with lobbies getting reseeded every two rounds. Six games were played in total, with the top eight advancing to the final day. Bonus points were awarded to players who finished in the top three.
Dishsoap had a stellar day-one performance at the TFT Mid-Set Finale and he started off day two where he left off, sitting atop the leaderboard with a lobby win during game one. And winning lobby A was DQA with Samira and Bel’Veth Aegis.
After three games played during day two, Dishsoap and sètsuko were still in the top four of the overall standings. Sitting atop the leaderboard was Broccoli with 23 points and Bossoskills with 21 points.
Heading into the final game of day two at the NA Mid-Set Finale, only Broccoli had secured a spot in the top eight with a total of 36 points. Garchompro and sètsuko just missed the top eight cut due to tie-breakers, with each earning 27 points, while a lobby win during game six helped DQA make the top eight cut with the same score.

March 5 TFT Mid-Set Finale overall standings
The top eight NA players who advanced to the final day of the TFT Set Eight Mid-Set Finale played a total of six games.
Those who finished in the top four earned invites to the Set 8.5 Regional Finals and the winner qualified to represent NA at the Monsters Attack! World Championship. All bonus points from day two carried over into the final day of the Mid-Set Finale.
After three games, Wasianiverson was dominating the final-day lobby with three consecutive second-place finishes, sitting atop the leaderboard with 21 points. Close behind him was Broccoli with 20 points, followed by Milala and Bossoskills.
Wasianiverson continued his streak, placing in the bottom four only once out of six games. The win streak earned Wasianiverson the NA Mid-Set Finale title and a direct invite to Worlds. Joining Wasianiverson at the upcoming Set 8.5 Regional Finals are Milala, Bossoskills, and Broccoli.
