Kyrie is an expert pet trainer that you can find in the Hallowfall zone in The War Within. Her team consists of Flicker (level 25, Flying), Sir Pounce (level 25, Beast), and Mini Airship (level 25, Mechanical), meaning you need to build a varied team.

While it is possible to fly over and start this pet battle at any point during your TWW adventure, it’s recommended that you get to at least level 75 so you can deal with nearby mobs (or enemy players) without too much difficulty.

Additionally, it’s worth making sure you have plenty of level 25 pets to pick from. Experienced players may be able to stomp The War Within bosses and trainers with underleveled critters, but for the smoothest battle, having max level pets is crucial.

You can find Kyrie close to Tenir’s Ascent—this area is in Hallowfall, which you can easily reach from Dornogal.

Head to the flight path and go south until you reach a pond with a fishing hut nearby. Kyrie is standing at the location on the map below with her pets. You can challenge her by speaking to her, and she sells some useful battle pet supplies, too.

This expert pet tamer uses multiple pet types in her team. Seeing as her team consists of a Flying, Beast, and Mechanical pet, the best types to have on your team are Magic, Mechanical, and Elemental.

That’s not all to consider when team-building, though. The best strategy that we found for taking out Kyrie swiftly is to use AoE moves to hit backline pets from the first turn, ensuring that the Mini Airship barely made it out onto the field.

Here’s the team we used to beat Kyrie quickly, including how to get each pet and what moves to pick for the battle.

Eldritch Manafiend251Arcane Explosion, Amplify Magic, and Arcane Storm.Legion wild spawn in Azsuna, near Ley-Ruins of Zarkhenar.
Albino Chimeraling252Tail Sweep, Call Darkness, and Deep Breath. Quest reward for “Mastering the Menagerie”.
Clockwork Rocket Bot253Missile, Minefield, and Launch Rocket.Seasonal reward from the Feast of Winter Veil event.

We switched our Elemental with a Dragon, as the Albino Chimeraling has great damage options, but you could swap this for a pet like the Nordrassil Wisp from Mount Hyjal. Any sturdy pet that can deal consistent AoE damage performs well in this fight.

If you’re running with our team, send out the Eldritch Manafiend first and use Amplify Magic to get a quick damage boost. Swap between Arcane Explosion and Arcane Storm frequently, keeping Amplify Magic active when it drops.

The Eldritch Manafiend is your most important party member. We managed to take down Flicker and 90% of Sir Pounce’s health with this pet alone.

When Eldritch Manafiend goes down, send in Albino Chimeraling. Opt for Deep Breath and Call Darkness to deal big chunks of damage, and use Tail Sweep sparingly if Sir Pounce out speeds you.

Finish up with Clockwork Rocket Bot. Missile and Launch Rocket hit hard, and wrapping up with a Mechanical pet means you don’t have to worry about getting knocked out—the Mechanical pet ability means they spring back to life with 300 HP or so after fainting.

Take this battle pet list as a suggestion, not a prescription. The most important thing is to use durable pets with AoE attacks that can take out multiple enemies at once, so critters like the Nexus Whelpling, Twilight Clutch-Sister, and Chrominus work just as well.
