Enchanted Harbinger Crests work similarly to Enchanted Dreaming Crests in the previous expansion. As the name says, Enchanted Harbinger Crests are mostly crafted by Enchanters.

While Enchanting isn’t currently the best profession, Enchanters can use Enchanted Harbinger Crests to upgrade crafted gear. So, if one of your main professions is Enchanting, then you’re in luck, but if you’re not an Enchanter, you can always get your upgraded gear through Crafting Orders.

Like with regular Harbinger Crests, there are three different types of Enchanted Harbinger Crests that are used for different item levels:

  • Enchanted Weathered Harbinger Crest – 577 to 590 item level
  • Enchanted Runed Harbinger Crest – 606 to 619 item level
  • Enchanted Gilded Harbinger Crest – 623 to 636 item level

The most common way to obtain more Enchanted Harbinger Crests is through the Enchanting profession. This means you have to be an Enchanter yourself or have a friend or a guild member who specializes in that profession.

Additionally, you can always rely on the Crafting Orders in Dornogal where you can find the Crafting Orders NPC Clerk Gretal, at coordinates 58.0, 56.5.

There is one more and easy way to get a free Enchanted Runed Harbinger Crest: Through a new story-mode Raid. If you haven’t had a chance to raid the Nerub-ar Palace yet, you can do it now, even in story mode with a bunch of NPCs.

Essentially, you have to complete a small questline to get the last quest called To Kill A Queen. This quest sends you to the Nerub-ar Palace, where you only fight the last boss of the raid with NPCs. Once you defeat her, you’re rewarded with an Enchanted Runed Harbinger Crest that you can use to get an upgraded Set Item Level of 606-619.

  • Five Gleaming Shard

Enchanted Runed Harbinger Crest
