From Elemental Overflow to Valor and Storm Sigils, World of Warcraft‘s ninth expansion has a wide variety of currencies you can use to either get better gear or upgrade your current gear to give you more stats and better effects.
While Valor is predominately used to upgrade your best-in-slot gear, Storm Sigils are here to speed up the gearing process and help you upgrade the Raging Tempest and Primalist gear from the Forbidden Reach.
Originally, the only way of getting your hands on Storm Sigils was via taking part in world events called Primal Storms, but over time, Blizzard Entertainment added more ways on how you can stock up on them. So, here’s how you can get Storm Sigils in Dragonflight.
How to get Storm Sigils in WoW Dragonflight
As we already mentioned, there is more than one way of farming Storm Sigils. The first method is by completing Primal Storms, a world event specific to the Dragon Isles. Every three hours, two randomized Dragon Isles regions, spanning from the Waking Shore, Ohn’ahran Plains, Azure Span, and Thaldraszus, will receive a primal invasion.
During this event, players will be able to collect two valuable currencies from enemies—Elemental Overflow and Storm Sigils. While Elemental Overflow is far more common for enemies to drop and, when exchanged in Valdrakken, can earn players a 359 item-level gear set, Storm Sigils can be obtained by completing the weekly Storm Surge quest and storm-specific quests that start by mobs dropping Primal Cores. In total, there are four unique quests, and each award you two Storm Sigils. So, if you complete Primal Storms, you’ll have at least nine guaranteed Storm Sigils.
Another way of farming Storm Sigils is by killing rare spawns in the Forbidden Reach. Although the drop chance is not 100 percent, each drop rate is quite high and you’ll probably end up with six to seven Storm Sigils for every 10 rare bosses defeated.
