With the introduction of the new update, Zskera Vaults became available, where players will need to explore to get an Onyx Annulet, an item that caused a panic within the community due to minorly resembling Borrowed Power.
While the Onyx Annulet can look like any other gear at first glance, it’s a versatile item that players can mold to their liking with various sockets. On their quest to get an Onyx Annulet, fans will also run into various Primordial Stones, which can be socketed into Onyx Annulet.
Each Primordial Stone comes with a unique buff, making them viable for different classes and situations. These Stones can also be upgraded over time, making them even more viable.
How do you socket Onyx Annulet in WoW Dragonflight?
Players can socket Onyx Annulet with Primordial Stones right after unlocking the item by bringing up its pop-up. The real challenge starts when it’s time to switch sockets. If you try to remove your initial sockets without progressing the quest line, you’ll have to break your existing sockets, essentially destroying them.
To remove sockets and keep them intact, fans must complete the Primordial Embellishment quest that will lead them to a Primordial Jeweler’s Kit. Upon finishing this quest, players can remove Gems without destroying them. Excess Primordial Stones can be exchanged for six Dormant Primordial Fragments that can be traded for new Stones from Researcher Imareth.

- Players who haven’t skilled their jewelcrafting profession can place Crafting Orders to get their hands on Unstable Elementiums.

- Cold Frost Stone — Gain a Frost shield every 20 seconds that absorbs 21,670 damage and slows melee attackers by 15 percent for five seconds.
- Deluging Water Stone — Abilities have a chance to drench a nearby ally, healing them for 26,004 over six seconds.
- Desirous Blood Stone — Dealing damage has a chance to drain life, dealing 12,127 Shadow damage and healing you for that amount.
- Echoing Thunder Stone — Moving builds an electrical charge, causing your next damaging ability to also deal 14,437 Nature damage.
- Entropic Fel Stone — Fire damage dealt by Primordial Stones is increased by 60 percent and is now Chaos damage.
- Exuding Steam Stone — Receiving heals has a chance to exude steam, restoring 12,039 health to yourself and two nearby allies.
- Flame Licked Stone — Dealing damage has a chance to set the enemy on fire, dealing 17,325 Fire damage over seven seconds.
- Freezing Ice Stone — Dealing damage has a chance to chill the enemy, dealing 16,171 Frost damage and slowing them by 15 percent for six seconds.
- Gleaming Iron Stone — Standing still for three seconds in combat steels yourself, absorbing 16,253 damage and increasing auto-attack damage by 305 for 25 seconds.
- Harmonic Music Stone — Entering combat increases the tertiary stats of you and four nearby allies by 364 for eight seconds.
- Humming Arcane Stone — Dealing Magic damage has a chance to fire Arcane missiles for each Primordial Stone family you have equipped, each dealing 8,422 Arcane damage.

- Shining Obsidian Stone — Gaining an absorb shield from a Primordial Stone erupts the ground, dealing 25,782 Physical damage split between enemies within five yards. Damage is increased for each enemy struck, up to five enemies.
- Sparkling Mana Stone — Frost effects from Primordial Stones restore 993 mana over three seconds.
- Storm Infused Stone — Critically striking an enemy has a chance to shock them and two nearby enemies, dealing 9,300 Nature damage.
- Swirling Mojo Stone — Being near a dying creature saps a portion of their mojo, and eventually crystallizes it.
- Wild Spirit Stone — Nature and healing effects from Primordial Stones restore 7,602 health of five nearby allies over seven seconds.
