Dragonflight Patch 10.0.7, which hits the live servers today in NA and tomorrow in Europe, is taking us back to the Forbidden Reach to uncover long-forgotten secrets. But that’s not all because Blizzard Entertainment has additional content planned for the update.
During a group interview on March 20 with World of Warcraft content creators, game director Ion Hazzikostas revealed there is “content that is encrypted on the Patch 10.0.7 PTR.” In simple words, the WoW team has prepared additional content for us in Patch 10.0.7, but it won’t see the live servers until we’re well into the patch.
The encrypted content most likely further unravels Dragonflight’s lore and prepares us for the release of the first content drop—Embers of Neltharion. So, you can expect to learn more about the faith of the Primal Incarnates later in Patch 10.0.7 and even more in Patch 10.1.
In addition to that, Hazzikostas explained how the devs are looking to keep as much content as they can secret and plan on releasing every patch of Dragonflight with some secrets just waiting to be discovered. In his words, the Forbidden Reach is “a place that is ripe for exploration and things to uncover.”
It’s high time to put your Dragonriding drakes to good use and dive deep into the secrets of the Forbidden Reach.
