Finally.

Ever since World of Warcraft Dragonflight launched, players have only had a handful of Dragonriding drake color customizations to play with. The only other customization Blizzard shipped was the Infinite Scales, coloring your drake black and white. But Patch 10.2 will introduce one more color.

According to a post from WoW on Oct 23, players will be able to unlock white scales for all their Dragonriding mounts in Patch 10.2.

To unlock the new color of scales, you will need to complete the Tyr questline that started earlier in the expansion, continued in Patch 10.1.7, and will wrap up in the next patch.

Once you complete the questline, it seems you will get the white scales for all your Dragonriding drakes, including Cliffside Wylderdrake, Highland Drake, Renewed Proto-Drake, Windborne Velocidrake, Winding Slitherdrake, Grotto Netherwing Drake, and the new Dragonriding mount, the Flourishing Whimsydrake.

After you unlock the new customization, visit the Rostrum of Transformation and change your drake’s color.

On top of all of this, Dragonflight Patch 10.2 will add a new Dragonriding drake called Flourishing Whimsydrake that will be obtainable by completing the main questline in the Emerald Dream, and customization options for Grotto Netherwing Drake. This mount was earned through the Trading Post in July. If you missed this July Trading Post, don’t worry, because this mount will be available in the next patch.

Dragonflight Patch 10.2 will land on the live servers on Nov. 7, and the new season, which will bring a new raid called Amirdrassil, and a new Mythic+ dungeon pool, will start a week later on Nov. 14.
