The publisher released a new trailer for Zenless Zone Zero‘s 1.1 update on Aug. 3, announcing the version—dubbed “Undercover R&B”—will launch in less than a week on Aug. 14. The update will feature the banners for two new five-star characters, Jane Doe and Qinyi, and the four-star character Seth Lowell. Jane is a member of the notorious Mountain Lion Gang who has a rat tail and ears. Because of this, several fans have highlighted their excitement for the upcoming playable character whom they’ve now fondly referred to as “the rat.”

The trailer also included a code to redeem—”UNDERCOVERRNB”—which is valid until midnight Aug. 5. Fans are loving the look of the content on the way for Zenless Zone Zero, and even though some thought little was actually revealed in the trailer, it’s hoped there’s plenty more in store for the mid-August update.

Another exciting new addition is the next Special Episode coming with Undercover R&B. The narrative mission will let you “stroll around New Eridu, complete commissions as Jane, and uncover the intricate past between her and N.E.P.S.”

The update also features new miscellaneous content. This includes the New Eridu Public Security area at Lumina Square, which is now explorable. The update also adds the new gameplay mode “Inferno Reap.” This mode allows players to participate in a time-limited battle with the boss Nineveh, which, upon defeat, grants them a wide range of rewards.

Update 1.1 will also introduce the new “Camellia Golden Week” themed event, which will let players obtain Polychromes, A-level W-engine, and various materials by completing event commissions. Lastly, the update will also feature the upgraded camera function with filters and new highly requested selfie options.
