Shape Memory Alloy is a basic material in The First Descendant needed to research several items with Anais, including the Peace Maker unique weapon added in the July 31 update.

Materials are easy to burn through, so it’s worth knowing exactly how to get more. If your supply of Shape Memory Alloy is low, fear not—we’ve got the details you need.

Shape Memory Alloy can only be found in one location in The First Descendant. To get the drop you need, head to Hagios on either normal or hard difficulty to search Resource and Munitions Boxes.

In Hagios, use your scanner to highlight the area around you and look for a white diamond marker on the screen. These mark Munitions Boxes, but Resource Boxes do not appear on scans, so look manually.

Fortunately, Resource Boxes are not difficult to locate in The First Descendant, and there are plenty to stumble across while you explore Hagios. But a drop of Shape Memory Alloy is not guaranteed, so you may need to search several Boxes.

When you do get a drop of Shape Memory Alloys, expect to receive a significant amount. From the few boxes I tested for this article, each drop provided me with at least 20.
