To farm Compound Coating Material in The First Descendant, visit Echo Swamp and Teleport to any Outpost location—we recommend Misty Woods or Muskeg Swamp.

Once you teleport there, press the TAB key/Right Stick/R3 to scan the environment. Your scanner will ping the location of every Resource and Munition box in the area, so all you really have to do is visit each and collect them. Misty Woods has two Munition boxes in the Outpost where you teleport, and you can find about five in the same area.

After you collect all the boxes in your vicinity, you can simply teleport back to Albion and redo the process. Even better, if you have finished the Main Story quests, you can open your map, switch the difficulty to Normal or Hard, and teleport back to one of the Echo Swamp outposts. This will respawn all the Munition and Resource boxes in the area.

Even though farming doesn’t take too long, get used to this route because you’ll need a lot of this stuff to build various weapons and Descendants, including Ultimate Descendants like Ultimate Viessa and Ultimate Valby.
