How long is Cult of the Lamb?

It doesn't take forever.

In Cult of the Lamb, you’re tasked with, you guessed it, gaining enough followers so that you can create a cult. While that sounds pretty tiresome and lengthy, the truth is, Massive Monster’s game doesn’t take long to beat.

According to How Long to Beat, if you focus purely on the main story without undertaking side quests, you can complete Cult of the Lamb in about 14.5 hours. If you undertake side quests, it’ll take you about 18.5 hours to complete. If you go for a completionist run, you’re looking at about 25.5 hours of playtime. If that’s not enough for you, you can jump into Cult of the Lamb‘s DLC, Relics of the Old Faith, which can take between 4.5 and 23.5 hours to complete (depending on whether you aim for a completionist run).

How long Cult of the Lamb takes you beat really depends on you, your style, and your priorities. You could spend dozens of hours wrapping up your journey if you get lost in additional content.

Since its release, Cult of the Lamb has received regular updates, expanding on the already hefty content. The latest update, Unholy Alliance, added local co-op, allowing you to build your cult alongside a friend. You’ll likely spend even longer playing and exploring with a friend in tow.

We advise taking your time and enjoying the adventure.
