We’ll cover only the main changes we already know are coming with Update 43, but if you want to know everything it will add to ESO, you can check the Update 43 early patch notes. The patch note for the update will probably be released when it’s live on Aug. 19.

Home Tours

The biggest change coming to ESO with update 43 is the Online Home Tour feature. All players will be able to put their homes on a list for other players to visit. You can set the Visitor Access option to Limited Visitor or Visitor, but never Decorator, so you don’t need to worry about the house getting robbed or ruined.

It’s a great way to display all the work and time you put into decorating your house, or get inspiration from what other players were able to do. There are no limits to the number of homes you can list, and you can create a nickname for them and add tags to make it easier to find your home.

There is also a recommendation system to increase the home’s popularity that allows the best homes to be featured in the Groups and Activity Finder menu, and if you find a home you enjoyed and want to revisit for inspiration, you can favorite up to 100 homes.

The update also brings new furniture: 28 new furnishing plans, seven new Master Writ Furnishings, one new antiquity the Apocrypha Jewelry Crafting Station, and the Scribing Altar.

Infinite Archive Update

The Infinite Archive is getting more interesting with two new arena types, new daily quests, new maligraphiers, and new rewards. Players should expect more gameplay variety when entering the Infinite Archive after Update 43.

The fire and ice arenas will require players to test out new strategies to avoid environmental hazards while figuring out how to deal with the monsters: new Fabled Monsters, two new Marauders—Bittog and Zulfimbul—and 10 new bosses.

You’ll be able to deal with the new monster on the daily quests. In the Index, you can talk to Esalinwe to get two daily quests targeting Fabled or Marauder maligraphiers. To deal with the new threats, the devs also added eight new Verses and 10 new Visions, including an undead Avatar.

New Class Item Sets

Update 43 will bring seven new Class Items to ESO, each with their unique stat, that can only be found in the Infinite Archive. Here are all the new Class Item Sets coming with Update 43:

  • Aetheric Lance – Templar, Aedric Spear
  • Beacon of Oblivion – Sorcerer, Daedric Summoning
  • Pyrebrand – Dragonknight, Ardent Flame
  • Umbral Edge – Nightblade, Shadow
  • Aerie’s Cry – Warden, Animal Companions
