The upcoming castle-building game, Tiny Glade, is slated to be released on Sept. 23 on Steam, developer Pounce Light announced today. In Tiny Glade, players build kingdoms using an array of terrain and structure modifiers that challenge players’ creativity and curiosity. In its announcement, Pounce Light shared a new trailer that shows just how nuanced castles can be, showing off lantern-lit ponds with pettable ducks, quaint countryside villages, and more.

Tiny Glade is the ultimate cozy game. As its Steam page says, there’s “no management, combat, or wrong answers.” Instead, players will get to design their castles to their heart’s desire, watching as the terrain and structure designs blend together to make awe-inspiring landscapes. Much of the gameplay will involve players discovering how Tiny Glade’s gridless building tools interact with the environment and then using that discovery to further expand upon their castle’s designs.

With the beginning of the Wholesome Games Festival today, the developers have also brought back the game’s demo, which was originally included as part of the Steam Next Fest in June. Prospective players can jump into the demo and get a taste of how Tiny Glade‘s gameplay elements will interact with each other while building mini castles of their own.

Unfortunately for console fans, Tiny Glade is only set to release on PC. You can wishlist it on Steam now to get news directly from the developer.
