You often find yourself hunting down multiple resources while playing Pokémon Go, and now, Niantic has added Max Particles to your to-do list. Max Particles are available to all players, but tracking them down can be tricky. It’s important to know the best way to find them, and we’ll help.
Pokémon Go players looking to grab more Max Particles are likely on the hunt for Dynamax Pokémon, which were added in the Max Out season. The more Max Particles you have, the more opportunities you have to find Dynamax Pokémon and unleash them in battle. Here’s everything you need to know about getting Max Particles in Pokémon Go.
Where to find Max Particles in Pokémon Go
There are several ways you can get Max Particles while playing Pokémon Go. These methods all concern Power Spots, a new interactable location you can find while exploring your local neighborhoods and walking around. If you see a Power Spot, interact with it like a PokéStop. Or, you can claim it from the Power Spots Tab in the Nearby Menu. You should see the Nearby Menu on the bottom right of your screen, where you can find Pokémon and PokéStops in your vicinity.
There is a maximum limit of how many Max Particles you can collect daily, which is 800. You should keep track of this number while you’re walking around, as you won’t be able to find more until midnight in your local area, and you can start searching for Max Particles and Power Spots once again.
Max Particles are needed to battle Dynamax Pokémon at Power Spots from Sept. 10, 2024, and enhance a Pokémon’s Max Moves. Max Moves are the attacks a Pokémon uses while in their Dynamax form. Only a handful of Pokémon can unlock this potential, but you want to collect as many Max Particles as possible to prepare the ones you regularly use.
You can also get Max Particles through research tasks and other methods like the store, which will be added in the future.
