Included with the season 16 Rocket Pass is a car skin modeled after the BMW 1 Series. This skin is the first item in the premium battle pass and uses the Octane’s hitbox.

The skin itself is modeled after the 2024 model of the BMW Series 1, a four-door sedan. While you cannot change the car’s body once you equip the skin, you can always change the paint job, equip accessories like spoilers, and pick different wheels to create your own customized BMW.

With a new season comes new opportunities to climb the competitive ladder. On top of regular competitive play, you can form teams of two or three players to partake in Heatseeker Tournaments.

In Heatseeker Tournaments, you’ll enter into a 32-team bracket where you partake in back-to-back matches to see who comes out victorious. The developers have also added one additional tournament timeslot for every region so players have more opportunities to join in the fun.

Here is a breakdown of the US timezones for the Heatseeker Tournaments, which are held every day of the week:

  • PST – 8pm
  • MT – 9pm
  • CT – 10pm
  • EST – 11pm

Included with the update is the Drift Woods arena, available in all Online, Private, Offline, and Free Play matches. This arena is planted in the middle of nature, surrounded by tall evergreens that cast shadows over the playing field.

The Drift Woods map is classified as a Standard Arena, meaning it has no unique layouts that are found in different game modes. The map is only used in regular 3v3 or 2v2 matches.
