Although many fans have been happy so far with the new graphics, improved animations, and various game mode additions, there have also been droves of players that haven’t been able to get into the game. From various freezing issues, constant crashing, and disappointing frame drops, fans are still struggling to get into the game with the official launch.

Hopefully, Patch 1.3 is able to rectify some of these issues as we jump right into the new season for 2K’s annual basketball sim. Here are all of the changes in NBA 2K25‘s Patch 1.3.

A majority of the changes being made to NBA 2K25 in Patch 1.3 are fixes to ongoing issues for the game and will drop for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on Sept. 8 at 4am CT. Here are the solutions being added to the game this weekend, just in time for the launch.

  • Fixed issue that caused multiple MyPlayer profiles to appear in the NBA during MyCareer, which could also block some quests from completing.
  • Fixed freezing issue when trying to use the Social menu.
  • Fixed multiple error messages and other major issues when trying to launch on PC under certain conditions.
  • Fixed connection issues when starting five matches in the City.
  • Made multiple performance changes to improve the overall player experience across online and offline game modes.

Currently, 2K25 has Mixed reviews on Steam after its initial launch, with many players complaining about the game freezing or lagging during certain sequences in and out of a match. There were also plenty of reports of frame drops when opening up MyGM and MyCareer, preventing players from jumping into two of the most popular modes.
