If you’re true diehard basketball fan, there’s plenty of be excited about in NBA 2K25—especially if you’re playing on PC. There are, however, some updated system requirements you’ll need to look out for, so you’re guaranteed to run the game at its best.

From a revamped system with more dribbling and shooting animations, updated graphics, and multiple different modes to explore, you’ll want to really shoot for the stars in NBA 2K25. This does mean, however, that your computer will need to be a bit beefier to handle all of the latest additions and adjustments that are making this one of the best additions to the popular franchise.

There are multiple levels that your PC can run NBA 2K25, but the better your machine, the better experience you’ll have in-game. With higher specifications, you should run into less of 2K’s dreaded frame drops and less lag, but even with a lower budget computer, you can still run the game at lower settings if you need.

Here are the system requirements at its minimum capability for those who are planning to play on a lower budget:

  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 4GB or AMD Radeon RX 570 4GB or Intel Arc A580

Best PC specs for NBA 2K25

If you’re running a more powerful PC, however, you can probably increase your settings for NBA 2K25. Here are the recommended requirements to play the game, from the developers:

  • Processor: Intel Core i5-10600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
  • Memory: 16GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 8GB or AMD Radeon RX 5700 8 GB or Intel Arc™ A770

For either build, you will need Windows 10, a stable internet connection, version 12 of DirectX, and 150GBs of space to download and run the game. There are also many modes that require an internet connection, so ensure you’re fully prepared for your upcoming basketball runs.
