Another week, another pro point standings article here at GAMURS.
First, just to clarify for the EU side of things, a source from Gfinity has confirmed that CWL London will be EU teams ONLY. There are no invites for NA teams.
As for ESWC Paris, we now have a bit more information on how invites will be given out thanks to a Reddit post from Muddawg over at Activision. The top-eight EU sides, as well as the top-four NA sides, will receive invites to compete in Paris, and if an NA team declines the invite, its spot will go to the next ranked EU side. The cutoff for pro points in order to determine invites will be on Feb. 6 at 9:00 a.m. CET (3:00 p.m. EST).
The winning team at ESWC Paris will receive 10,000 Pro Points, and if an NA side not named Rise Nation wins this, it will give them a fantastic boost heading into the next CWL event.
With a new cutoff to include and with almost all pro players grinding it out this week, here are the updated Pro Point standings for EU and NA.

NORTH AMERICA
Before we begin, this is the only way we can describe ACHES’ current pro point amount…
Speaking of ACHES, it seems like the young guns of Enigma6 are also trying to get the two top teams on the NA Pro Points ladder. Eventually, we may just have an entire top ten that is solely E6 and Cloud9 teams.

Enigma6’s grinding benefitted them quite a bit here, as they leapt over Luminosity in the standings and now have a three position cushion heading into the weekend.
The top three teams are pretty much set in stone until the next 2K, with OpTic in a weird position at No. 4. If Team Allegiance wins the next 2K, or if OpTic finishes far worse than ALG, then we may be having a new team eating croque-monsieurs in Paris in February.
In fact, any team in the 5-9 spot is in range to potentially jump OG in the next tournament if OpTic does not place well. While some teams are focused on winning the next 2K to jump OpTic and qualify for ESWC, others like eUnited, Team EnVyUs and Team DraMa could all use a nice 8,000 pro points just to make sure they qualify for MLG Atlanta group play.
Below the top-12, not much action has happened, with the bottom four sides practicing their hearts out to place well at the next 2K.

EUROPE
Well… The EU scene at the moment is interesting, mostly due to this accusation:

If this is true, then these standings, and possibly the NA ones, will change or players could be banned. However, I definitely do not want to assume, confirm, or deny whatever is happening on GameBattles.
Anyway, on a more positive note for the scene, the grind is real for Team Infused. Taking a one-two punch to Elevate and Supremacy, this team’s ability to grind was enough to propel them into the No. 3 spot.
There was also a shake-up for the top two orgless teams, as the Skrapz and wuskin brother duo took a decent lead over Niall’s side, and it may take a few Night Changes for Niall and company to get back into the top six. One Way or Another, whether through the 2K or grinding, they are still in the hunt to take an Atlanta pool play spot (and I ran out of One Direction puns again).
Right above the ESWC cutoff along with Niall’s side is Aware, with endurAAA’s side a good 2K points back before another large drop-off. These sides could defnitely use a Kk boost this weekend, however, if Orbit repeats or a team like Splyce or Infused gets revenge, the EU standings may be too top-heavy for any lower sides to get a shot at an Atlanta spot.
