Kim “Coach815” Kwangbok will join the Cloud9-owned Overwatch League team for season two, starting off in the league as one of the “longest-tenured esports coaches,” according to London Spitfire. Kim has more than 10 years of coaching experience dating back to 2007, where he made a name for himself in StarCraft: Brood War. He later moved on to StarCraft where he coached legendary team StarTale.

The new Overwatch League coach has helped Heroes of the Storm teams, too, before moving on to Overwatch. Kim coached MVP Space in the OGN Overwatch Apex tournament’s fourth season before helping the team qualify for Overwatch Contenders.

“Kim’s career speaks for itself, and we’re thrilled to be working with him as he enters the next stage,” Cloud9 CEO Jack Etienne said in a statement. “We’re excited at the prospect of what his veteran leadership will bring and can’t wait to get the action started again.”

London Spitfire released former coach Park “Changgoon” Chang-geun in late August. Coaches Kim “Jfeel” Jeong-min and Hong “Agape” Cheol-yong remain on the coaching staff, now led by Kim. Park has since joined Seoul Dynasty.

Ahead of Overwatch League’s second season, London Spitfire has not yet announced any changes to its roster. The team currently has seven players, just under the minimum roster requirement of eight. London Spitfire must have eight players signed for season two by Dec. 1, per the Overwatch League’s rules.
