Last year, YouTube celebrity Daniel “Keemstar” Keem revealed he was building a game, titled Drone BR, set to release during Q2 2019 on Steam. Today, Keemstar announced he has stopped production to focus on a new game.

In a tweet, Keemstar implied he was tired of making games for money and wanted to focus on something he enjoys. He wrote, “It’s time to make a game i [sic] love & hopefully you will love it too.” He said he is now focusing on making a survival game, though not much is known about the details of the new game.

Drone BR’s official Twitter page has not yet announced production has stopped nor has the game’s Steam page. The game is a “last-man-standing” pilot shooter which was being developed by ProjectorGames. It is currently unknown if Keemstar’s new survival game will also be developed by ProjectorGames.

He’s also already released a draft of the game map for his new survival game on Twitter. Though it most likely isn’t actually a prototype. It even has a reference to Keemstar’s fans referring to him as a gnome with Gnome Lake being a landmark on the map.

Keemstar’s new survival game will most likely be released on Steam and not on mobile. He’s previously stated that Drone BR was not intended for mobile gamers and would most likely sell for $5, with optional cosmetics available for purchase.
