Genshin Impact‘s next era arrived in August, and Neuvillette is already a name many will remember after the release of the Fontaine region and its Archon quests.
Neuvillette is shown walking alongside Clorinde in the castle of Fontaine’s main city, displaying his high title in the game. In the last scene, this is confirmed by seeing him sitting in an armchair, serving as Chief Justice of Fontaine.
Neuvillette is a stern and serious man who’s tightly attached to the value of justice. He operates with Melusines, which is controversial in Fontaine, and has a major role to play in the region’s story. The character will also become playable very soon as he’ll be featured in the banner of Patch 4.1.
Here is everything we know about Neuvillette.
Who is Neuvillette?
Neuvillette’s official title is Chief of Justice in Fontaine. His clothes hint at his eminent status, with brooches and shoulder pieces. This role makes him powerful in Fontaine in particular because the Archon of the region is considered the God of Justice, as explained in Sumeru’s Archon quests.
What are Neuvillette’s abilities?
The Chief of Justice will be a deadly DPS in Genshin Impact as a playable character. His playstyle will mainly revolve around Charged Attacks, which will unleash a powerful water cannon.
By using abilities, Neuvillette will generate spheres that will regenerate his HP and speed up his charge when absorbed. His other abilities will focus on Hydro AoE damage.
What element is Neuvillette?
Leaks suggest the element of Neuvillette will be Hydro, even before Fontaine was released in August, alongside Patch 4.0. This information was confirmed in the Archon quests, as players were able to see him fight while completing the region’s story.
What is Neuvillette’s weapon type?
Leaks originally indicated that Neuvillette’s weapon would be a Claymore. But for once, they were wrong. In Sept. 15’s livestream that revealed what’s coming with Patch 4.1, his abilities were shown as they will be in the game, and he’ll wield a Catalyst.
What rarity is Neuvillette?
Neuvillette is a five-star character, which isn’t surprising at all considering he’s one of the most central characters to Fontaine’s main story. Players should save their Primogems to get him.
Fortunately, the third anniversary of Genshin Impact is coming up, and players will have a lot of events to complete while his banner is up, allowing them to earn many precious rewards along the way, including over a thousand Primogems.
When will Neuvillette be released?
Neuvillette is expected to be released in the first phase of Patch 4.1. He’ll be the upcoming five-star banner, alongside Liyue’s Hu Tao. The update is planned to go live on Sept. 27. Then, he’ll make way for Wriothesley and Venti in the second phase later this fall.
