All Gang Attack Locations in GTA 5

An easy method of securing loot and RP, any time of day.

In GTA Online, players can engage in Gang Attacks during their free roam of San Andreas. Gang Attacks are only unlocked at Rank 18 via Martin Madrazo, who will call the player character and introduce the optional side missions.

Martin informs the player that he needs a few hideouts to be wiped out, but he’s more concerned with tying up loose ends than retrieving any loot stashed there. As such, anything the player finds during the raid, they can keep. There are various gang locations on the GTA 5 map, which are highlighted by a red area.

All Gang Attack locations, listed

Initially, GTA Online contained over 50 Gang Attack locations. However, many of them have since been removed to avoid overlap with other optional activities in the outlined area. Gang Attacks occur at different in-game time periods, ranging from morning (04:00-12:00), afternoon (12:00-20:00), and night (20:00-04:00). There is also one event—located in East Vinewood—that occurs from 12:00 to 22:00.

How to trigger and complete a Gang Attack in GTA Online

In order to trigger a Gang Attack, the player must enter the area outlined by a red cloud and engage with one of the gang members. There are various crates scattered around the location that players can loot for weapons, ammo, and snacks to restore health. To complete the Gang Attack, players must kill a certain number of enemies—usually 15—and there can be as many as 10 or 30 enemies at a single time. Go into these activites knowing you’re in for a fight accordingly with the weapons, gear, and ammo you bring. Never walk into a gunfight without the proper tools to keep yourself alive.

Although players participating in Gang Attacks will still appear on other player’s radars in free roam mode, they cannot be attacked until the Gang Attack is either completed or the player leaves the designated area altogether. Additionally, completing the Gang Attack will reward players with 500 RP, as well as any loot they find. The more players that partake in the Gang Attack, the higher the overall RP earned. It’s a fitting and thematic nod to what you’re trying to accomplish.
