You have to wait for the crows to give you space to walk to the button. After that, you can rotate the new movable path to connect the stairs and rotate it again to reach the next button. It will unlock a ladder and take you to the next building. Here’s what to do next in Monument Valley:

  • Rotate the yellow movable path to put the crow under it and push the button.
  • Go back, and rotate it again to trap the crow blocking the way to the stairs.
  • Once you reach the top, wait until the crow is in front of the moving path to raise it.
  • When in place, rotate it again to trap it inside.

In the next building, rotate the movable path right in front of you to make space for you to cross. The next crow will have to go upwards to open space, so rotate the other movable path. Repeat with the other crow.

In the last building, move Ida to the square on the side rotate the square to connect the tiles until you reach the upper floor. Keep rotating the building and walking to the edge to reach the top eventually.

After you get the yellow column, drag it to the next button. Keep using the column to push the buttons until you reach the button that must stay pushed, then do this:

  • Take the column to the corner and step on the button to bring it up.
  • Drag the column to the space next to the ladder.
  • Climb it to get on the column again.
  • Push the column towards the stair that leads to another button. It will raise a path to the isolated column with a button.
  • Drag the yellow column to it and it will turn sideways. Drag the yellow column to create a final path.

Drag the column to the new button and you’ll be taken to the next building. Here’s what to do next:

  • Rotate the stair to move the yellow column to the path under it.
  • Rotate it again so you can go up the stairs, bring the column back, and step on it.
  • Move it to the other side so you can push the button.
  • Bring the yellow column under the stairs again, rotate it, and push it to the remaining button.

In the next building:

  • Move the column to the middle and rotate the movable path.
  • Push the column to the left.
  • Rotate the path and move Ida to the other side.

This creates an illusion that the column is next to where Ida is, allowing you to step on it. Just rotate the moving path again to create one that leads to the next button and move the column. Lastly, bring the column to the middle to create another illusion and take Ida to it. Drag the yellow column towards the door and push down the movable path with the circles on the side. Move the column one last time to go to the door.

You’ll have to use the walking crows in this level. Just keep rotating the movable path until it reaches the button and brings Ida to the building. On the next puzzle:

  • Make the crow push the button on the right side twice and bring Ida to the movable path
  • Make the crow press the button on the left twice.
  • Make it press the button on the right twice again to connect the paths, and move Ida to the other movable path.
  • Make the crow press the left button twice.

Have Ida press the remaining button, and a door will appear. In the next building, stop the crow by holding up the movable path with the circles on the side to block it.

Lastly, you’ll only have to rotate the building until the paths connect. Start by moving Ida to the right and rotate the building until the path connects. Repeat the process until you end up next to a crow, then go down the stairs to press the button. Go back to the top of the stairs and rotate the building until it connects to the red stairs.

Chapter VIII – The Box

There are four buildings inside the box, depending on how you open it. Ida is on the one you open by dragging the top right movable path. She will go to the building on the bottom left part of the cube. Pay attention to the crow’s timing, press the button on the other side, and return to the door.

She’ll return to the blue building, go there, and make her cross the new door. It will take Ida to the yellow building in the top left part of the box. Press the button to unlock the new building inside the cube. Once it’s all revealed, press the buttons as they appear and you gain access to them.

Chapter IX – The Descent

Grab the flower and start going down the building.

  • Go to the left until you are in front of a tower and rotate the movable path.
  • Go up the ladder and press the button. From there, go as low as possible to lower the sea and unlock the movement of the yellow column.
  • Rotate the movable path to raise the tower and go down the ladder.
  • Rotate it again to bring the tower down until it connects to the path behind it, and again to bring the ladder down.
  • Move the yellow column so you can get on it and drag it to the door.

In the next building:

  • Push the key in the right wall to create a path that connects to the stairs.
  • Move the movable paths to connect the way towards the button.
  • Keep adjusting until you reach the ladder at the bottom.

When you reach the grey stairs, push the buttons and keep rotating to the same side until the path connects. You’ll get to a mirror; align the path while looking at it. When the stairs seem to be stuck, just walk forward and they’ll start cascading.

The first building is confusing. You’ll have to move Ida to one of the colored tiles and rotate them so you can cross to the other sides of the cube and reach the doors. Here’s what to do to get to the first door:

  • Move to the tiles next to the crow and rotate it so that Ida is standing on the outside of the cube.
  • Walk around the crow to get to the red tiles, and rotate it so you stand on the same side of the stairs.
  • Enter the door.
  • Rotate the movable part until it connects with the top path.
  • Take Ida to the movable path and rotate it so that she can be on the path leading to the bottom door.
  • Go to the door on the right and enter.
  • Rotate the movable path to make it sideways and press the button.
  • Enter the door to return to the cube.

Here’s how to get to the second door:

  • Go back to the red tile and rotate it to get to the blue tile next to the crow.
  • Rotate the blue tile so Ida is on the same path as the crow.
  • rotate the cube so you can see the door at the top and enter it.
  • Walk around until you get to the smaller path that rotates.
  • Rotate it to get Ida into the inner part of the building.
  • Rotate it again until it’s half in place and create a path to the button.
  • Push the button and enter the door.

For the last door:

  • Return to the blue tile next to the crow.
  • Go to the other blue tile and rotate it so Ida is on the inner part of the cube.
  • Go to the red tile that has the arch and rotate it towards the stair.
  • Enter the door.
  • Keep walking and rotating the building so you pass through every door and reach the button.
  • Go to the moving part where the crow sits and rotate the building a final time.

To end the chapter, go to the red tile and rotate it so Ida is in the inner part of the cube again. Head to the blue tile next to the crow and rotate it so Ida can walk on the forced perspective and complete the challenge.
