Today’s LoLdle quote was a bit on the easy side for me. Other League of Legends players may struggle with this voice line a little, though, if they haven’t played as much of this older champion as I have over the years.
The champion who says this quote has received some updates since their original release back in 2009, including changes to their splash arts and voice lines. But if you’ve played enough of them, you should get this clue off the rip. Don’t be surprised, though, if it takes a view tries to nail it down as this clue is relatively vague and could apply to multiple champions if your game knowledge isn’t at least relatively solid.

The LoLdle quote on May 29 is “They say the desert is a cruel mistress. I like the sound of that.” The League champion who says this voice line is Sivir.
Sivir is by far my most played champion in League. Although this might not be one of the many voice lines from her I could repeat in my sleep, I just knew in the back of my mind I’d heard this come from the Battle Mistress before. The great thing about LoLdle quotes is that sometimes, even if you aren’t able to immediately place the voice line from the jump, you can kind of hear a certain champion saying it, and if you combine the way they sound in your head to what’s on the screen, the quiz does get a little easier.
There are some other champions that could have said this kind of quote, considering many of them hail from the desert—whether it be Ixtal or Shurima—and speak in this coy manner. If you had said someone like Qiyana, Cassiopeia, or even a blue-blooded Shuriman like Azir, it wouldn’t have been the worst guess in the world.
Even if you haven’t played a ton of Sivir before, the word “desert” in this quote should have at least helped you narrow down your guesses. And if, for some reason, you weren’t able to guess correctly based on that hint, the audio clue should’ve been very helpful—just like it was for me with yesterday’s LoLdle quote.
