Overwatch players who make the switch over to Heroes of the Storm will be rewarded with two new skins, Oni Genji and Officer D.Va, plus a plethora of other Overwatch rewards.
Oni Genji is, quite possibly, the best Overwatch skin available, and Officer D.Va isn’t too far behind. And that’s left console players pretty sad. For plenty of Overwatch players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, there’s no way to earn the Heroes skins. “Some players could just log onto a laptop even if they’re a console player, but unlike me and others, there is absolutely no way we can get the skins,” one forum user wrote.
Well, Blizzard has an answer for that: Eventually, it will add the Oni Genji and Officer D.Va skins to the normal, base Overwatch loot boxes, Overwatch game director Jeff Kaplan said as a response on the forum.
“We completely understand that there are some players who do not own or have access to a PC to player Heroes of the Storm,” Kaplan added.
But for those of us who do have access to a PC, Kaplan wants us to play the Nexus Challenge even if we can get the skins another way. “Heroes of the Storm is an amazing game and you’ll unlock those skins for free and before anyone else.”
The Nexus Challenge is ongoing over the next four weeks and unlocks new goodies in each stage.
