The two teams moving on to the OGN Overwatch Apex finals have been decided: RunAway and GC Busan.
GC Busan earned their spot in the prestigious South Korean tournament finals on Oct. 10 by beating Cloud9 KongDoo in a stunning 4-0 series. Likewise, RunAway took on Nc Foxes on Oct. 13, and they also swept their opponents. It’s certainly not the finals we expected, but both teams have proven themselves worthy across the tournament.

Both teams will move on to the Oct. 21 finals. Cloud9 KongDoo and Nc Foxes will compete on Oct. 17 to determine the third-place finisher.
Because of their placings, both RunAway and GC Busan have also qualified for the APAC Premier tournament, which begins of Oct. 19 in Shanghai, China. RunAway and GC Busan, alongside Miraculous Youngster and 1246, will advance directly to the playoffs, however. Playoffs begin Oct. 26, so GC Busan and RunAway will have a brief period to transition from Overwatch Apex to APAC Premier.
Both tournaments will likely be played on different patches, and neither RunAway or GC Busan will have much time to prepare.
