The Overwatch League’s All-Star weekend is scheduled for Aug. 25 to 26 in Los Angeles, and it’s time to start voting for the participating players.
Fans will choose the starting lineups for each of the two teams—Atlantic division and Pacific division. Six players from each team will be chosen by fans. (Six votes are allowed per team per fan, two votes per position.) Twelve additional players per division will be chosen for the All-Star team by players, coaches, and Overwatch League staff. All players from across the Overwatch League are eligible—but only 36 players will be chosen for the All-Star event.

Alongside the All-Star Game on Aug. 26, players chosen will participate in “fun skill events” the day before the main event. It sounds a lot like the All-Star events held by the NBA—but instead of a dunk contest, there’s more likely to be a Ana grenade trick shot round.
Voting for the All-Star teams ends with the conclusion of stage four on June 17. Starters for each team will be announced the week of June 18, according to Blizzard. Reserve players will be revealed soon after.
Blizzard expects to announce further details “soon.”
The Overwatch League’s fourth stage is ongoing. Playoffs will begin on July 11 with a six-team tournament held at the Blizzard Arena. Two teams from that tournament will move on to the Overwatch League grand finals event in Brooklyn, New York at the Barclays Center. This morning, Blizzard announced that all 20,000 seats at the arena have been sold.
