Overwatch League fans were able to earn skin tokens by watching the league on Twitch yesterday, but it was just a test that has since ended.
Players were able to amass Overwatch League tokens by connecting their Twitch account with their Blizzard Battle.net account on the Twitch website. You’ll find the option to do so in the Twitch account settings. The tokens were earned by watching Overwatch League on Twitch, but the program has since ended, a Blizzard representative told Dot Esports.
Overwatch League viewers on Reddit and Dot Esports staff report receiving between four and nine Overwatch League tokens.

“As a part of a test of the Overwatch League viewership reward system, some viewers who had their Twitch account linked to their Battle.net account received League tokens yesterday,” Blizzard told Dot Esports. “The test has since ended, and we’ll have more details about content and rewards to share soon.”
Blizzard announced in January that viewership rewards would be a part of its deal between the Overwatch League and Twitch. At that time, Blizzard said that Twitch viewers would receive “unique Overwatch League in-game items with exclusives,” but did not detail the rewards further. It’s unclear at this time whether there is more to the program than Overwatch League skin tokens.
The Twitch deal will also include special Overwatch League cheermotes for viewers to support the league and its teams.
