Even though Canada doesn’t have an Overwatch League, there’s no shortage great Overwatch players in Canada. Canadian players—Joe “Joemeister” Gramano, Randal “Roolf” Stark, Félix “xQc” Lengyel, Liam “Mangachu” Campbell, Brady “Agilities” Girardi, and Lane “Surefour” Roberts—made it to the Overwatch World Cup grand finals match, falling to South Korea in a 4-1 series.
Some of Canada’s national players will continue on competing for various teams in the Overwatch League when preseason exhibition matches begin Dec. 6. The regular season starts Jan. 10.
And once they get to Los Angeles for the inaugural season, it’ll be nice to know there’s a bunch of Canadian Overwatch fans cheering them on.
