The Warden’s abilities have to do with supporting their teammates, making it more difficult for them to fall when battling against enemies. You’ll be able to add powerful shields, increase your team’s damage output, and give supportive buffs when you apply your shields. A full breakdown of how these abilities and perks work should make it easier for you to decide how you want to play this archetype. Here’s what you need to know about all the Warden abilities and perks in Remnant 2 The Dark Horizon DLC.

All Warden skills in Remnant 2

The Warden has access to three skills tied to the type of Drone they’re using: Shield, Heal, and Combat. All players in Remnant 2 get access to the Drone: Shield ability when they start playing as the Warden, but have to unlock Drone: Heal at level five, and then Drone: Combat at level 10. The more you play Warden, the more abilities and skills you can use to assist your party during combat.

Drone: Shield

With the Shield Drone, the Warden in Remnant 2 has access to 100 energy reserves to follow and protect a Warded Target chosen by the Warden. The Warded target receives a 10 percent damage reduction at all times. If the Warded Target is not at max shield, the Drone uses 25 energy to grant a shield for 8.1 percent of the target’s Max Health every two seconds. These shields last until they are removed by damage, or the Warden stows the Drone. When the Drone is idle, and not in combat, it regains 1.2 percent energy regen per second, or if the drone is stored because it goes inactive, it regains 1.8 energy per second.

Drone: Heal

The Heal Drone is similar to the Shield one as it has 100 energy reserves to follow and protect a Warded Target. While someone is the Warded Target, they gain Relic Use Speed by 10 percent, and while they are not max health, the Drone uses 15 energy to heal 10 percent of the target’s max health every second. If the Drone is idle, it becomes Dormant and regains 1.2 percent of its energy regen per second, and if it loses all energy reserves, the drone goes inactive and regains 2.4 percent of its energy per second.

Drone: Combat

Finally, the Combat Drone also has 100 energy reserves to use on a Warded Target. While someone is a Warded Target, they receive 10 percent increased Fire Rate and Total Melee Speed, as well as decreased Firearm Charge Time by 10 percent. During combat, the Drone attacks the Warded Target’s focused enemy, using 10 energy per attack. If the Drone becomes idle, it regains 1.2 percent of its energy per second, and if it loses all power, it goes inactive, where it regains 2.4 percent of its energy per second.

The Warden receives four unique perks Remnant 2 players can unlock. These perks are not all available immediately, but you can gain them as you level up and continue to play as the Warden. You do have to stay the Warden to gain access to these unique passives, amplifying your talents.

  • Galvanize: You unlock Galvanize at Warden level one. The Warden now provides an increase to all damage done. It begins at 2.5 percent but increases with Warden level.
  • Safeguard: You unlock Safeguard at Warden level two. The Warden’s Drone now gives the Warded Target a stack of Bulwark.
  • Contingency: You unlock Contingency at Warden level three. If the Warden’s health drops below 25 percent, they gain a shield for 25.4 percent of their max health. The shield lasts for 10 seconds, and it can happen every 30 seconds.
  • Energize: You can unlock Energize at Warden level four. When the Warden uses their relic, they gain a shield for 25.4 percent of their max health. It cannot stack with itself. It lasts for 10 seconds, or until the Shield is removed by damage.
