TFT 13.14 PBE patch notes: All early changes we know so far

Prepare for TFT Set Nine Patch 13.14.

Riot Games will return from its summer break with a significant Teamfight Tactics update through Patch 13.14 on July 19, featuring a focus on Augment and item balance changes to the Set Nine Runterra Reforged meta.

Patch 13.13 within TFT Set Nine Runeterra Reforged was scheduled to run for three weeks without a B-patch. A variety of bugs getting abused prompted the team to ship a 13.13 C-patch on July 10, dealing with the exploitive glitches while also dropping a few balance changes. Changes applied to the PBE servers for the upcoming Patch 13.14 initially focused on Set Nine Augments, especially Legends Augments

Final updates to TFT Set Nine Patch 13.14 on the PBE servers were uploaded on July 14.

13.13 C-patch TFT Set Nine changes

Prior to the second update dropping on the PBE servers, the TFT team made several significant changes to the Patch 13.13 meta through a C-patch on July 10.

  • Buried Treasure (all tiers): Gold removed
  • Tiny Grab Bag: Gold reduced to four
  • Big Grab Bag: Gold reduced to eight
  • Giant Grab Bag: Gold reduced to 10
  • Kai’Sa: Mana nerfed from 40/110 to 40/140
  • Lux: Starting mana nerfed from 25/45 to 0/40
  • Lux: Spell damage nerfed from 750/1125/3333 to 700/1050/3333

All early Patch 13.14 PBE notes

A majority of the changes getting tested on the PBE servers are Augment adjustments, reducing gold through econ Augments and XP gained from Augments like Knowledge Download. Two Augments, Caretaker’s Ally and Know Your Enemy, also had reworks applied.

Any PBE TFT Set Nine Runterra Reforged changes are subject to change prior to the official update that is scheduled to take place on July 19. 

Patch 13.14 TFT Augment PBE changes

Multiple Set Nine Legends Augments were adjusted for testing on the PBE, reducing abilities and loot slightly.

  • Balance Budget: Gold reduced from four to five.
  • Balance Budget Two: Gold reduced from eight to six.
  • Balance Budget Three: Gold reduced from 12 to 10.
  • Built Different Two: Health is now 180 to 360 and attack speed is 40 to 60 percent.
  • Built Different Three: Health is now 270 t o600 and attack speed is 50 to 70 percent.
  • Caretaker’s Ally: Rework—”Each time you level up, gain the same random tier-three champion.”
  • Caretaker’s Chosen: Level to open a Radiant item Armory changed from eight to seven.
  • Dueling Gunners: Attack speed gained reduced from 10 to five percent.
  • Endless Hordes: Health reduced changed from 40 to 20 percent and gold gained increased to eight.
  • Final Reserves: Total health reduced adjusted from 40 to 20 percent and gold increased to eight.
  • Know Your Enemy: Rework—”Your units deal 15 percent increased damage. If you and your opponent have any of the same traits activated, they deal 20 percent increased damage instead.”
  • Knowledge Download: XP gained reduced from 16 to 12.
  • Knowledge Download Two: XP gained reduced from 24 to 22.
  • Knowledge Download Three: XP gained reduced from 40 to 36.
  • Level Up: XP gained initially reduced from four to two
  • Living Forge: Random Ornn Artifact changed to gain an Ornn item Anvil.
  • Long Distance Pals Two: Shared stats reduced from 30 to 25 percent.
  • Loving Invocation: Ability power reduced slightly from 2.5 to two.
  • Mana Burn: Percent of maximum health damage reduced from three to two percent.
  • Medium-End Shopping: Gold granted reduced from three to one.
  • Money: Gold gained initially and after four turns reduced to 10.
  • Money Money: Gold gained initially and after four turns reduced to 16.
  • Money Money Money: Gold gained initially and after four turns reduced to 25.
  • Ravenous Hunter: Gained attack damage percent and ability power reduced from six to five
  • Riftwalk: Now has players gain a Kassadin.
  • Rolling for Days: Shop refreshes reduced to 10.
  • Rolling for Days Two: Shop refreshes reduced to 15.
  • Rolling for Days Three: Shop refreshes reduced to 25.
  • Spoils of War Two: Chance to drop loot reduced to 30 percent.
  • Spoils of War Three: Chance to drop loot reduced to 40 percent.
  • Stable Evolution: Health gained reduced to 70 and attack damage was reduced to seven percent.
  • Stars are Born: Gold gained reduced from three to six.
  • Suppressing Fire: The duration of attacks dealing reduced damage increased from four to eight seconds.
  • The Boss: Attack speed granted increased from 30 to 35 percent.
  • Three’s a Crowd: Health gained increased from 100 to 123
  • Tiny Grab Bag: Gold reduced to four
  • Tiny Power: Attack damage, ability power, and attack speed given to units reduced from eight to seven percent.
  • Tiny Power Two: Attack damage, ability power, and attack speed given to units reduced from 11 to 10 percent.
  • Tiny Power Three: Attack damage, ability power, and attack speed given to units reduced from 18 to 16 percent.
  • Wellness Trust: Gold threshold reduced from 50 to 30.
  • Young and Wild and Free: Gain one random item Component(s) was added. 

Patch 13.14 TFT item PBE changes

The items adjusted on the PBE servers for TFT Set Nine Patch 13.14 were Sniper’s Focus and Locket of the Iron Solari. A big change on July 11 reduced the burn of Radiant Morellonomicon and Sunfire Cape to only two percent. The regular versions of the items were also adjusted.

  • Dragon’s Claw: Maximum health gained increased from four to five percent
  • Locket of the Iron Solari: Shield reduced from 300/350/400 to 180/200/220 and damage duration was reduced to four seconds. 
  • Morellonomicon: Burn reduced from 10 to one percent.
  • Radiant Locket of Targon Prime: Shield nerfed to 275/325/375
  • Radiant Morellonomicon: Burn reduced from 60 to two percent
  • Radiant Sunlight Cape: Burn reduced from 60 to two percent
  • Radiant Dragon’s Will: Regenerated health increased from eight to 10 percent
  • Shroud of Stillness: Enemies Mana Reaved reduced from 35 to 30 percent
  • Sunfire Cape: Burn reduced from 10 to one percent
  • Sniper’s Focus: Grant one bonus attack range was added.
  • Sniper’s Focus: Increased damage per Hex was reduced from 10 to eight percent.

Patch 13.14 TFT champion PBE changes

Only Orianna received a balance change among the TFT Set Nine champions during the first week of PBE testing, featuring a rework after the lowest health ally gains a shield. On July 11, a large number of champion changes were added to the PBE servers. And another update on July 14 provided a better picture of balance changes for Patch 13.14.

  • Aatrox: Total damage increased slightly to 330, mana changed to 0/50, along with armor and magic resistance increased to 70
  • Akshan: Physical damage from shots increased slightly to 105/162/250 for a total damage of 162
  • Aphelios: Moon Blast damage buffed to a total of 195 and Chakram damage increased to eight
  • Ashe: Total damage buffed from 125 to 175 percent
  • Bel’Veth: Total damage reduced from 120 to 102
  • Cassiopeia: Magic damage reduced to 170/255/385 and bonus magic damage nerfed to 51/77/116.
  • ChoGath: Magic damage buffed to 334/486/722 and gained maximum health was changed to 30/35/40.
  • Garen: Spin damage increased slightly to 50/79/126 and bonus damage reduced from 55 to 50 percent
  • Galio: Heal buffed to 350/400/450 for a total heal of 400.
  • Gwen: Duration of armor and magic resistance changed to 3/3/6 seconds.
  • Irelia: Mana nerfed to 30/90 and Ionia bonus reduced to plus-25 armor and magic resistance.
  • Jarvin IV: Mana changed to 60/180
  • Jhin: Ionia bonus reduced to 20 percent attack damage.
  • Jinx: Total damage buffed from 125 to 147
  • Kai’Sa: Mana changed from 40/110 to 40/140
  • Katarina: Magic damage after teleportation nerfed to 130/195/320
  • Karma: Magic damage buffed to 180/270/445 and Ionia ability power bonus nerfed from 30 to 20
  • Lux: Magic damage changed to 700/1050/3333 and mana nerfed to 0/40
  • Malzahar: Shields destroyed increased to 50 percent and magic damage buffed to 200/300/450
  • Orianna: Rework—After granting the lowest health ally a shield for four seconds the spell empowers Orianna’s next attack that deals 260/390/585 bonus magic damage. The shield expiring ability was removed, along with adjacent enemies getting Chilled. 
  • Rek’Sai: Heal nerfed from 120/216/389 to 80/144/259 (overall heal from 216 to 144)
  • Ryze: Mana changed from 70/110 to 40/80
  • Samira: Total damage nerfed from 200 to 175 percent
  • Soraka: Magic damage from stars buffed to 115/170/265.
  • Swain: Mana adjusted to 40/80 and health bonus increased to 475.
  • Taric: Mana changed to 40/70 and shield gained adjusted to 450/500/575
  • Teemo: Magic damage adjusted to 200/300/465/500
  • Warwick: Passive attack heal changed to 30/35/40 and heal increased from 30 to 35
  • Urgot: Mana buffed to 30/90
  • Viego: Magic damage nerfed to 110/165/250 and stab damage reduced from 185 to 165
  • Yasuo: Slash damage nerfed from 638 to 609 (406/609/2831)
  • Zed: Total damage nerfed from 166 to 146
  • Zeri: Chain Lightning’s total damage increased from 45 to 49 and attack damage was increased to 65/98/146

Patch 13.14 TFT trait PBE changes

The July 11 update to PBE for TFT Patch 13.14 brought about changes to traits like Deadeye, Demacia, Invoker, Rogue, and Juggernaut. And the Apex Turret Mechano-Swarm was nerfed through the July 14 update.

  • Bruiser: Health gained adjusted to 10/40/70
  • Darkin: Equip duration changed from five to four seconds
  • Deadeye: Damage at each breakpoint buffed to 25/70/150 percent damage
  • Demacia: Armor and magic resistance buffed at all breakpoints except three to 5/25/60/125
  • Freljord: Enemies Mana Reaved at breakpoint of three reduced from 35 to 30 percent
  • Invoker: Additional mana to Invokers buffed at the breakpoint of six to 20
  • Juggernaut: Damage reduction slightly adjusted at all three breakpoints
  • Rogue: Bleed increased at the breakpoint of four from 30 to 50 percent
  • Shadow Isles: Times receiving or dealing damage reduced from eight to six and shield duration buffed to 15 seconds
  • Slayer: Omnivamp reduced from 15 to 10 percent
  • Strategist: Ability power at each breakpoint nerfed to 15/25/40/60
  • Techogenius: Apex Turret Mechano-Swarm magic damage adjusted from 50/100/175 to 50/80/120 while burn remains the same
  • Void: Baron Nashor health buffed to 1100/1980/3564
  • Void: Rift Herald damage increased from 180 to 240 and health buffed to 950/1710/3078
  • Void: Remora attack damage nerfed to 55/83/124
  • Zaun: Robotic Arm Mod percent chance to trigger additional attack reduced to 50 percent
