The First Descendant quickly found its place in the hearts of players and attracted plenty of interest, and the live-service title has much more up its sleeve with season one—and we can tell you when it’s due to begin.

Nexon has big plans for The First Descendant in 2024, with the roadmap revealing the first drop of new content is due in early August, followed by the start of season one—and the exact start date and time are already confirmed.

Season one of The First Descendant officially begins on Aug. 29. The official maintenance notice says the servers will go live at 6am CT / 7am. ET / 4am. PT / 12pm BST / 9 pm AEST.

The notice also states the maintenance details are subject to change, so be prepared for potential delays. It’s a major update, and season one may launch a little bit later or earlier, depending on the circumstances.
